Town Hall

The town of Montigny le Tilleul wanted to unite all their administrative and social services into one building. They organized a competition for engineers to design an extension to their old building with the following criteria:

Low in energy consumption.

Easily accessible for persons with a disability.

Welcoming and comfortable for the citizens visiting it and the people working inside.

A good connection to the older building.

Preserving the surrounding green spaces.

The result is a very modern, light and transparent building that seems to be defying gravity.
